**Job Title:** Refrigeration Service Technician

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**

+ The Refrigeration Service Technician is responsible for the operations, repairs, replacement, and preventative maintenance of commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment.

+ Must have a working knowledge of rack systems, walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, reach-in coolers and freezers, and basic HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, exhaust fans, make-up air units and associated electrical equipment.

+ Ability to diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment to include:

+ Strong understanding of the refrigeration circuit

+ Understand superheating and subcooling.

+ Hot gas circuits and operations

+ CPR’s EPR’s and head pressure control valves (ORI, OROA, LAC)

+ TXV/Orifice operations

+ Ability to perform leak checks (electronically and pressurized)

+ Ability to solder, braze, and pipe fit.

+ Understand reciprocating compressor operation.

+ Use different types of compressor oils.

+ Understand electrical circuits and processors.

+ Defrost clocks.

+ Defrost heaters.

+ Contactors

+ Relays

+ CPC Processors

+ Technicians will be familiar with all refrigeration equipment and all refrigerants.

+ Work with the Dispatch Team to ensure that the workload is accomplished in a complete and timely manner.

+ The individual must maintain safe work practices in support of the OSHA Health & Safety and NFPA 70e standards as it applies when performing the assigned duties.

**Job Specifications** (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 5 years of experience in maintaining similar type and size commercial equipment, along with a current Universal CFC certification

+ Strong oral and written communication required.

+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.

+ Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices necessary to perform all work assignments.

+ Ability to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods of time.

The MST makes routine visits to each store to inspect all equipment, document the status of each unit, perform all required preventive maintenance, and complete work orders for maintenance and repairs. This position reports directly to the next-level manager for their region.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ 10% Communication - Trains Home Depot store associates and customers in the proper operation of the equipment and large equipment operating procedures. Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations

+ 40% Compliance: Safety & Department of Transportation - Maintain Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) certifications. Maintains accurate parts inventory in vehicle or shop location. Maintains accurate fleet inventory and transfers equipment between locations. Maintains vehicle compliance to company, federal and drivers standards of performance Deploys new equipment to store locations, including performing PDIs, delivering to the store, and training store associates on the operation of the equipment.

+ 50% Maintenance - Responsible for maintaining a fleet of rental equipment at a set of store locations or customer job sites, with a particular emphasis on preventive maintenance.

+ Receives direction from in their region in planning and aligning short-term and long-term goals.

+ Makes routine store visits to perform inspections and preventive maintenance on all units at each store

**Job Posting External**

**Job Duties**

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.

+ Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.

+ Maintain a service van and its inventory.

+ Process paperwork after completion of each job.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Less than 2 years related experience

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.

+ Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.

+ Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.

+ Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.

+ Industry related training is preferred

+ Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

**Ultimate LLC** is immediately hiring **Journeyman HVAC Installers** for commercial projects in the **Phoenix** area. The pay range is **$25-$35** per hour based on experience. All Journeyman HVAC Technicians are scheduled 40+ hours a week. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit.

**Ultimate Job Duties**

+ Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems

+ Ensure condensation drain line is clear and working properly

+ Troubleshoot defective systems and make corrections

+ Install HVAC systems based on blueprints and/or user’s requirements

+ Ensure compliance with appliance standards in Health and Safety Act

+ Installation of fabricated duct work, spiral pipe, supply air/return round pipe, flex duct, etc.

Ultimate HVAC Installation Journeyman Requirements

+ 4+ years of Construction experience

+ Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots)

+ Must have basic hand tools to perform trade

+ Ability to perform regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance
