**Responsibilities**
Join our team and play a vital role in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our patients and staff! We are seeking a dedicated **Environmental Services Associate to:**
+ Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, hallways, waiting areas, and other areas within the healthcare facility.
+ Strictly follow established cleaning and disinfection procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
+ Collect, transport, and dispose of general waste, regulated medical waste (biohazardous), and soiled linens according to established guidelines.
+ Replenish supplies in patient rooms and common areas, ensuring adequate stock levels of essential items.
+ Respond efficiently and courteously to requests for cleaning services from nurses, doctors, and other healthcare personnel.
+ Safely operate and maintain various cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, and other specialized machinery.
**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma and/or GED education.
+ Requires enough basic education to understand and follow standard practice or oral and written instructions.
+ Able to read and write use simple arithmetic keeps simple records or use simple office machines.
+ Minimum 6 months janitorial experience in Healthcare or Nursing Home preferred.
+ Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Must maintain current Fire Safety card.
