**Responsibilities**

**Position Summary:**

The registered nurse employs critical thinking to integrate objective data with knowledge gained from an assessment of the subjective experiences of patients. Registered nurses use this critical thinking process to apply the best available evidence and research data to the processes of diagnosis and treatment. Nurses continually evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and seek to optimize outcomes.

+ This position is represented by CNA and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ One (1) year experience as an RN in a Critical Care area, i.e. ICU/CCU, Cath Lab, ED, Radiology.

+ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

+ Required to be flexible in scheduling i.e. weekends, holidays, on call and floating.

+ Demonstrates organizational skill and the ability to delegate.

+ RN - Registered Nurse license from the State of NV Nursing Board.

+ CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support – AHA

+ CT ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support – AHA

+ NIHSS = NIH Stroke-AM Stroke ASC- Nat'l - Training upon hire/transfer.

+ Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ One (1) year experience as an RN in Angiocardiography.

+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

+ Certification in Specialty Area.

**Pay Range**

$49.96 - $69.30 /hour
